Book Review – The Zookeeper’s Wife by Diane Ackerman

The Zookeeper's WifeThe Zookeeper’s Wife by Diane Ackerman
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

This is a long book to read for it has been given a lot of time and details of WWII era.

If you expect a fast read, this book is not for you.

Reading this book reminded how humans can be atrocious and at the same time they can go out of their way to help fellow humans and animals. I liked this book more for the fact that, Jan and Antonina Zabinski are animal lovers and protectors and it shows how one can go out of their way to look after the animals.

One time read for me and I’m looking forward to see the movie if at all it will be made.
