When Breath Becomes Air – Book Review

When Breath Becomes AirWhen Breath Becomes Air by Paul Kalanithi

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Gosh this books tells your world can turn upside down with a terminal illness. Dying in an instant is one thing and dying every day and do not know when you’ll abruptly stop living is very scary.
Paul has aptly showed the readers the same.
There were two instances when I said I am not reading this book again(for I was reading this book in my lunch break at office while having lunch) one where Paul describes his first few months as a freshman in med school with cadavers (for I didn’t want to throw up in a filled up cafeteria) and the next where he writes a heart touching note to his daughter(for I didn’t want to weep profusely in a filled up cafeteria).
Must read as it teaches to love yourself and others close to you.
