Here’s what i wrote :-
#NeverTooLate Never too late
“It’s never too late to be what you might have been” – George Elliot
How often do we hear this and how often do we even act. Sometimes, time happens, time flies and with that what we had passion-ed for also flies. But when do we even stop and think and say to ourselves, I need to do something about myself, something that i used to be good at? Not often? Not as frequently as possible? Then it is high time to think about it.
“Whilst we deliberate how to begin a thing, it grows too late to begin it.” – Quintilian
This sort of relevation happened to me last year, 8 months after delivery of my baby. Till then, even before pregnancy, I’d been so busy and so tangled in everyday grind that I’d forgotten what I used to do, what I used to love. As i said before, time happens and time flies.
“Beware of missing chances; otherwise it may be altogether too late some day.” – Franz Liszt
Now when I have time restriction – balancing home and office and life (and whatever in between!!), I feel the need and the urge to get back to what I love, for I feel I may get lost in the grind and I wouldn’t have any memory to look back and feel good..
So I started writing again, blogging extensively. If you see my blog, you will see hardly any posts till Oct 2015 (LOL, right!?).. And one thing, that is still sticking as a to-do list is get back to photography.. I’m an amateur but that doesn’t stop me to get my creativity back… And one more that I have started doing is to read as many books possible. Isn’t the world-of-books too huge for one’s lifetime, to read, to get inspired, to laugh.. For a person like me, books mean a lot, they peace – mind calms down, and I get inspired to do things.. So with a thought in mind that what i love to do and if i do it, it will definitely make me a better person and that’s what I am looking out as a motto this year! 🙂
