FFfAW Aug 23

As I walked by the stream,

this stop clock caught my eye.

Seems like it was washed up by the river,

No one to lay a claim on it.

Such intricate work that’s done on it,

Looks so good now, I can imagine how it was in its full glory.

I wonder the time it’s showing,

Could it be deliberate or just stopped due to the fall.

I pick this clock in my hand,

And its shine nearly blinds me.

Oh! This stop clock is mesmerizing,

Is it true or am I dreaming.

Hope no one comes to claim it,

As there’s a village down the river.

I will not let go of it,

For I found it and I love it already.

As I walk upstream,

I keep the stock close to me.

Until then,
