Memories behind the Door

In response to WP Discover Challenge – The story behind the door

As I stand, staring at this blue door,
all memories come flying by,
As to how, I as a kid,
run out of this door playfully.
As to how, I as a teenager,
angry, storming out of this door,
swearing not to go in,
yet running inside after few minutes.
As to how, I as a young woman,
going to first interview,
clutching my resume, praying.
As to how, I as a bride,
all dressed and happy.
As to how, I as a pregnant woman,
slowly cruising with a big belly.
As to how, I as a new mom,
holding my baby in my arms.
As to how, I as a mom, trying to get
hold of my baby playfully running out of this door.
Life happens, time flies, Kids grow up, we grow old.
And now, I keep looking & trying to see what is going on
inside this blue door, in that house,
while I stand there, people walking through me and
getting soaked up in August rain.
