Karma gets back at you for good

Of-late, WP daily prompts aren’t very intriguing as they used to be, so I’d to scroll for older prompts to see if there’s something that is interesting. And, this thought has been on my mind for a long time and Lo! behold, there’s a prompt talking about it.. πŸ™‚

In Response to Daily Prompts – Karma Chameleon

This just in: let’s pretend that science has proven that karma is a thing. Your words and actions will influence what happens to you in the future. How (if at all) will you change your ways?

Really, i do not want Science to prove that Karma is a real thing. It is, real. Haven’t you heard of “what you sow is what you reap”?

When i was a young kid, seeing all the horror movies that show hell for the bad guys and heaven for the good guys, I had questioned my mom. (PS: my mom is very practical lady, she isn’t too much of a blind-religious person nor she is an atheist. She is somewhere in between with a logic and most of the times it keeps me grounded.!).

She told me – nobody has ever lived to tell what a heaven looks like and what a hell looks like. The universe is such a thing, that is like a circle – what goes around comes around. So if you do good and if you are true to yourself, you will see good things happen to you and you will find heaven in your future. But if you do bad things, the same will come back to you no matter you like it or no. So choose wisely.

Every time I’m made to decide what to choose from, I think of what my mom said.

I personally feel, karma is a thing that nobody can escape.

“Still others commit all sorts of evil deeds, claiming karma doesn’t exist. They erroneously maintain that since everything is empty, committing evil isn’t wrong. Such persons fall into a hell of endless darkness with no hope of release. Those who are wise hold no such conception.” ~Bohidharma

“The law of cause and effect. And we are all under this law”

Until then,

  1. I have never used the writing prompt. They sound like fun. Anyway, yes I agree Karma is very much a thing. Eventually it catches up to you. Good or bad.

Heyya! Lemme know what you think :)
